We are selling our beloved Mason & Hamlin reluctantly as we are moving out of the country.
This M&H Model A (5ft 8) is built in 2004 with a Satin Mahagony finish, handmade two-tone keys (see pic), matching bench. The sound of this M&H A is just marvelous and this is the one that makes us “happy”.
We purchased this particular Mason & Hamlin Model A in April/May 2006 after a long search of grand piano and visited numerous dealer in USA and Canada. We have auditioned and played many including new Steinway Model M, L; Bosendorfer 170, Shugeri Kawai, Schimmel, and we finally found this Mason & Hamlin Model A.
The retail for a new Model A is about HK$350K in this finish before discount. We really hope to sell to someone who can appreciate this Mason&Hamlin. We are asking HK$200K. This is definitely a great investment for a good sounding Mason & Hamlin in a rare finish.

於是, 好多人都以其全新鋼琴時的售價來估計二手價值. 好多時都是大大的高估了二手價.
原因好簡單: 新琴的售價是完全由代理商決定, 最能反映的是代理商想得到多少利潤, 而不一定能反映這鋼琴的價值.
以上的廣告說這鋼琴的音色比 Steinway & Sons 或 Bosendorfer 更好, 是真的嗎?
音色的喜好是十分個人的.
好多有深度的演奏家都喜歡 Steinway & Sons 或 Bosendorfer.
而他說更喜歡這鋼琴的音色就只能說, Mason & Hamlin 更符合他的品味.
